May 3, 2013 – ELGIN, Ill. – National Gift Card Corp. (NGC) successfully concluded a month-long promotion on all of its ngcecodes orders in observance of Earth Day, April 22, and Arbor Day, April 26 by donating $3,500 to the Arbor Day Foundation .

NGC earmarked a portion of the proceeds from its Earth Day and Arbor Day sale to be donated to the foundation, known as one of the world’s largest tree planting organizations. The ngcecodes program allows gift card customers the ability to order and deliver digital gift cards electronically to recipients. With as many as 10 billion new plastic gift cards manufactured every year, electronic delivery is becoming a growing cost-saving and environmentally-friendly trend.
