Lou Farinella joined NGC as CFO in 2018, and is responsible for all aspects of NGC’s accounting, finance, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.  He also participates in strategic plan development, merger and acquisition (M&A) activity, and contributes to the overall management of the company.

Prior to NGC, Farinella was CFO of Moore Landscapes, a private equity owned commercial landscaping company.  He also spent more than a decade with the Crown family's private equity arm, CC Industries, and their portfolio company, Provisur Technologies, where he held various leadership roles in finance, M&A, strategic development, sales, and international expansion. He started his career as a consultant with Ernst & Young, LLP.

Farinella holds a BS in Finance and Accounting, with High Honors, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA, with Distinction, from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management.  He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Outside of work, Farinella tries to spend every free moment in the outdoors with his wife and their three children.
