National Gift Card named one of incentive industry's best suppliers, best places to work
National Gift Card Corp. (NGC) was served a double helping of incentive industry recognition this week. Incentive Magazine named NGC a winner of its prestigious Platinum Partner Award in the Gift Card Reseller category for the second consecutive year. In addition, Counselor Magazine recognized NGC as the number seven promotional product supplier – and number 17 overall – on the publication’s annual “Best Places to Work” list.

The Platinum Partner Award has become the benchmark for achievement in the areas of employee motivation, corporate gifting and travel. Winners are selected based on the motivational appeal of the product line, customer service, and speed of fulfillment, as well as the degree of promotional support and customization opportunities. With more than 65,000 buyers of recognition and incentive programs nominating companies and voting for winners, the Platinum Partner Award is considered one of the most prestigious in the industry.
The Counselor Magazine “Best Places to Work” list; with 85 companies named in all; was compiled based on an in-depth survey of more than 4,000 employees conducted by outside research firm Quantum Workplace. Counselor Editor Andy Cohen said three themes run through the 85 companies who made the list: teamwork, recognition, and fun. Counselor Magazine is published by the Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI).
Earlier this summer, NGC was also named to Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 500|5000 list of America’s fastest-growing companies, as well as the Crain’s Chicago Business “Fast Fifty” list of the Chicago area’s fastest-growing companies.
